So in my neck of the woods, temperature dropped fierce and quick! For us mature folks, it sometimes makes you feel ya age. Joints, bones and even skin (Dry) starts coming around to visit. Heat and lotion helps with some glucosamine as a cure. We've had no snow just cold rain It washes away issues, sometimes, or just chills to the bone others times at least around here.
What's weird is I'd been all tapped out this week I didn't think going into writing today that I'd have anything to say. Last week I worked 2 x 12 hour days on the weekend shift, and that always wrecks me. Been on struggle street fa real! I got kids so most times standing on frustration lane fustrated at things they do. We just got to the teenage angst and I saying "I know" but doing dumb here (yea that's a phrase) and showing they don't know anything and can't do right to save their life! stage..
Fam, really they can be good kids, but in testing boundaries and absent or vacant thinking.. grandpa wants to do the rag doll shake ... Seriously fam they sometimes do things and I am like "Fa real?? fa real fa real?? (Kid name) Where dey do dat at? I mean we don't do that here.. Not here!" Yup. Dems the issues I got. Life, work and home. What you got on deck?
My boy, friend, brother from another mama came back into town to visit. Was good for the time I got to seem him.
My other boy, friend, best man and ace goon, came around and man! I didn't realize it'd been so long since we just sat and talked. Gotta hold on to good friends fam, we gonna fall back but cain't be fallin off!
Fam I got into IT and later traveling, lost a lot to work and forgot how to relax and vibe. To this day I have issues decompressing and staying up till 3 am when I don't have to work is normal it seems (lately). (See Fallin off)
To wit, since this is NaNoWritMo I gotta start my writing regardless of the cold, the tired, the struggle, the frustration... I said I was gonna do it so I gotta do it right?
