Dragonstorm: Bastille - Elemental game

Game Master: Did I say you can roll the dice.

Some people (the crew)  think I am a good GM ... I am honestly surprised.  I mean people have liked my games and I have grown from Con Mode (Act1, act2, hack an slash, give points) ...I try to be creative and hardworking for the story and my players.

I recently got a comment as I was working with my group to define what their elementals do as far as the cards go for Dragonstorm.   I asked Mark (of the Secret Clanhold) and he advised me that they were reworking the cards.  I advised that we could help, and got some of the crew to vouch for it.

Mark replied:
The attached PDF is the elementalism cards as they exist in Alpha game play.
I believe there is room for a good GM, like yourself, to customize how they work in your campaign.

Here at the Clanhold we will be pretty much ignoring Elementals as they have played no significant role in the flow of history. Particular places may have more interaction, but we leave that to the GM.

We are alpha testing some cards (as you can see. Elementalist) and I am soooo gonna bite on their different takes of Elemental magics.  I almost used Materia but it would not be right in the sense of keeping it simple for good feedback.

I don't want to bite but I have to.  I loved Avatar the Last Airbender (the series, the movie sucked to me... )  And I am chilling with Jim Butcher's Furies of Calderon... good stuffs!

I have a town that is a more of a collection of  bubble city structures .. haven't found played the idea yet.  It is in the arctic and some facets are there that remind me playing with Solars when we played Exalted at Adrian's house.  That was always fun.

I am working on creating Bastille, in a MMORPG way, not plot driven.  But also trying to not be heavy handed. I got a good idea for the intricacies of the town but want players to have fun.  Some limits but again... just thinking.  I got 2 weeks!

So far I have come up with the Bastille in the center of the city and like a multi tierd wheel parts of the city.  Plus some other fun things but that's later on.  I am awaiting some excitement and intrigue.  But gotta keep making many scenarios because if you have a game, players will break it, if you have a game plan, you can be fluid.

To the storyboard I will go...
