Humpday of grabbing goals or functional stress 52417

I don't believe that if you do good, good things will happen. Everything is completely accidental and random. Sometimes bad things happen to very good people and sometimes good things happen to bad people. But at least if you try to do good things, then you're spending your time doing something worthwhile. Helen Mirren

Send out a cheerful, positive greeting, and most of the time you will get back a cheerful, positive greeting. It's also true that if you send out a negative greeting, you will, in most cases, get back a negative greeting. -Zig Ziglar

Sometimes when you've had a long series of disappointing things happen, you can get into the very bad habit of just expecting more of what you've already had. -Joyce Meyer

If you don't think your anxiety, depression, sadness and stress impact your physical health, think again. All of these emotions trigger chemical reactions in your body, which can lead to inflammation and a weakened immune system. Learn how to cope, sweet friend. There will always be dark days. -Kris Carr

I tend to have this perverse reaction to authority and stress: I become more confident and clear when a challenge is enormous. -Cate Blanchett

Morning Fam (grumbly voice)

Today is humpday... (grumbly voice)

It's raining, my ankle where the screws are is reminding me badly and  and I sound like Eeyore!

This has got to change. That's besides the point or rather it's really a symptom of the point.

During this healing and hindering time, I've tried not to get morose or mauldin with a bunch of stuff.  I realized that I have to lose weight and stop losing wait.  I have to get better by hook or crook.. I gotta keep pushing but it's uphill a lot as it seems many things just want to not work right...

Fam, all these realizations and they sit there like bus passengers staring me in the face saying where is your destiny taking you before you take hold of us?

I don't know if that makes as much sense as I see but I have been largely affected versus being effective.  I have been reactionary for such a long time (learning and earning my wife, getting the kids, going from different jobs).  I have coined a phrase lately ... I am a functional stress-aholic with roadblock tendencies.  I thrive on stress, I fight .. I show my worth/value in what I do and how I work.  A lot of things go by the wayside as I wait for the next threat/challenge and react.  I think I may be stuck fam?  You ever been like this that?  It's great to be faced with and overcome a challenge, but when that becomes your default you lose something.  I haven't relaxed or calmed down without a lot of time away.  It sucks plainly.

So what am I getting at..  Think of this week as a crisis state.  Tis Humpday and we need to destress so we can get away this weekend or however we can.  We need to not let all this clutter cloud our defaults and make that the status quo.  My wife hates rushing.  Even when she has time she parcels it out and plans.  I am not that way but I think I can learn from that to plan and make more time FOR me instead of letting all this happen TO me.

Fam, tis humpday make the time to deal and not react. Time to take stock and push through.  Control your square, get out and get something.

Oh, and if you see the camel knock the rock off his shoulder and then german suplex him on the concrete yelling :"Mike Knows his name!"
