It's Humpday and I am thankful.

Thank you for being.. who you are, what you are and today.. here with me. 

I was talking to a friend yesterday and she'd remarked how my leg has changed my life and how it had to be bad.  Immediately I remembered how much worse it could have been when I fell.  Backwards, forwards.. My wife could have dealt with a paraplegic or I could have never seen my kids/grandkids or her smile.  So, fam with today being Humpday.. just a note to be thankful.. for what you got... 

Strugglenomics has been heavy fam, trying to balance work/life/family/wants/needs has not been easy.  Couple that with trying to literally get back you your feet and the math don't add up.  I ain't making a lot of headway but progress is there.  Gains are real and again gotta be thankful or be woeful.  I choose the first. Through a lot of this journey; from getting the kids, being on the road, gaining and losing weight, and this leg .. it's not positivity or determination (yea that plays a part but it ain't just that)... its acceptance, will and most of all thankfulness. mindfulness that I still am here, alive and kicking. Fam, keep that in your hearts cause we got so far to go.
