Fam

ITS BEEN ONE!  

Seriously.  

I'd come back to work in Jan and was not happy.  There were some fights not being fought, values in question and anger rising.  This can't happen now, I'd mused.  I have to heal and a lot of that displacement and fury went elsewhere.  I had to keep practicing changing the conversation.   Whereas i'd been angry at perceived notions and things not given (I was up for a lead position from June to August but never materialized.. broke my leg and BAMN BANG BOOZLE no lead position.  I'd not been there, they limped along without me. I had no worth although I'd done a lot.. see to them the issue is that it' was paying me for an accident.  They calmly acknowledged what I'd done but no movement there. The other issue was the position it wasn't in writing and perception is reality to most fam..)  So I'd been looking around..went on some interviews and was let down.  Kept looking and changed my resume, my outlook and yea fam, conversation... it had to and finally put my notice in cause someone listened.  Someone hired this one legged man with a good game plan to *in Brain's voice from Pinky and the Brain "try and take over the world!"  ok .. ok not the world..just to get better, stronger and keep going...

Fam I didn't just have to change, to find some balance but my conversation had to change .. not to one of anger, but to one of need and want logics if you will. 

I need a  position that will allow me to grow and be valued.  

I want a position that pays what I am worth, 

Fam, you know what, I think i found just that.  I was told in an interview that certainly a broken leg could not just all of a sudden change your whole world view. Yea fam, it can.  You realize little things like how it could be worse, how falling is not failing and to keep moving, growing changing and time heals most if not all wounds.  This ain't to sound all cliche but really sometimes in my darkness those things were the only light. My dad told me I had a lot to do and not to sulk when in the nursing home, the people there showed love but also showed the ill fitting movement of time.. and sometimes no movement at all.  It wasn't ever an if I get outta here it was a when and what i would do with it.  So Fam I completed my first week starting my second humday and still kicking.  How you doin?
